chili night up the canyon lives on.
we picked up the allen girls and we're so glad they joined in.
the chili was still warm when we got up to our spot in butterfield canyon.
our usual meal of crackers, cheese and chocolate milk was made
even better with the corn muffins lindsay brought.
the kids played on the rope swing and we made the little jaunt to the gate up the road.
it got dark and chilly quick.
i was glad i put the girls in old clothes and shoes.
kids know how to get dirty!
molly stepped into the ditch pretty much right when we got there.
we made her wear an extra jacket as pants. she wasn't too thrilled with that idea.
this little outing is one of my favorite family traditions
