windy, chilly, sunny, warm, rainy...crazy weather at swiss days today. found some trinkets, ate a swiss taco and enjoyed being with these two lovelies.
we couldn't remember when this little tradition started for us. we've been coming for several years, sometimes with nursing babies, sometimes big and pregnant. but preferably without children.
it's always fun to be up in that beautiful area and shop the boutiques.
it makes me laugh to see so many menfolk there. there are so many husbands wrangling kids following their wives around. matt would absolutely rather lose a limb than accompany me to swiss days. he stayed home and wrangled the kids at home. win win.
when i got home the yard work was done, the kids were busy doing chores and the house was clean. whut?!
they had been rewarded with little stuffed animals they've been begging me for - which i've told them "no" over and over and over. their father bought one for each of them with the deal that they would get any and all chores they were asked to do done. they are spoiled.
matt had also made plans for us to have a late afternoon date.
(sexiest words a man can say to his wife with young kids, "i've arranged for a sitter").
so a few minutes after i got back home he whisked me off to texas roadhouse for an early dinner.
a saturday to remember.
