we already had dinner plans with our friends planned for december 2. when i found out jim gaffigan was coming to town i texted all the ladies and asked if anyone was interested in going to his show after dinner. everyone was in! and it was such a fun night!!
the fords made us a reservation at tucanos down at gateway. it took a while to get in even with our reservation but they took good care of us and we had such a good meal. all that delicious meat and that grilled, warm pineapple!! we were running late to the show so we got our dessert to go. HUGE pieces of rich chocolate cake wrapped in plastic wrap on paper plates. we stuffed them in zane's car on the way to the show.
jim gaffigan was awesome! he entertained us for well over an hour. good, clean humor. i would love to see him every time he comes to town. laughter is so good for the soul.
we rode with the wolfgramms and were so glad mom and dad offered to take the kids over night as we got back close to 11:30 pm. it was so nice to just be able to hop in bed and sleep in in the morning!
best date night ever!!
