the heat is on

man, it's hot! we've been in triple digits the past week or so.

we've decided to beat the heat at the splash pad in the late afternoon. it's a genius idea really.

we were the only souls there the one day. we had our fun then picked up a pizza for dinner on the way home. such a brilliant way to spend the witching hour.

we tried out the 106th splash pad but it was swarmed with annoying children and we didn't have as much fun there.

the girls are wanting to go to a pool and i'm sure we will go a time or two but it's much easier to cool off but not drown at a splash pad!
